As dengue epidemic grew in Kandy, Hillwood College organized a dengue prevention and education program, and the PPA very enthusiastically joined forces to support the cause. Thereafter, the PPA took the initiative with the support of the Commissioner of Prisons to organize a cleaning day at school. The detainees from the Pallekelle prison were brought in and the entire school was cleaned with their help. We like to thank the commissioner of prisons for the support rendered.
